- I am, Roger C.-C. Lin, a Postdoc in the Institute for Astronomy, UH
(IfA) using astronomical database, such as
Pan-STARRS,
LAMOST, and
SDSS, to study nature of stars and star clusters.
I am also involving the
VLTI-GRAVITY
instruments to study massive stars and young stellar objects.
- The Changhua City,
Taiwan is my hometown.
I obtained my bachelor degree, mathematics major, at the
National Central University, Jhongli, Taiwan.
The sky and the universe is so attractive that I decided to study astrophysics, especially on
star clusters science. After I graduated from the
Graduate Institute of Astronomy
in NCU, I worked at Shanghai Astronomical Observatory,
Chinese Academy of Sciences, China for a two-year
postdoc position.
